Sidesaddle Heaven is pleased to announce the sole American distributorship for the acclaimed Circle R Side-Saddles.  Made on Circle R’s own Balance Ride trees, developed after years of research and testing by experienced sidesaddle riders. Production is limited but Circle R riders say it’s well worth the wait.

Ray Laviolette of Circle R Saddlery is an accomplished saddler of many years, highly regarded in the custom western saddle market.  In November 2001, Ray introduced the new Circle R Sidesaddle at Equine Affaire in MA. Compliments on his work came from non other than Richard Shrake, who had heard about this saddle at the show and came to see for himself.

That first sidesaddle led to the development of a complete line.   A sidesaddle that placed the rider straight and in balance was great news in the world of modern sidesaddle riding, and orders were soon coming in from prominent riders.

Production of 2009 models has been completed; the new Circle R sidesaddle line will be available in the spring of 2010.
